WITHOUT WITNESS · Sense testimoni
Application · Cycle I · 20 July – 10 August 2026
Monomo Estudios SL (“MONOMO”, “we”), Gràcia, Barcelona, Spain — the self-portrait studio and organiser of the WITHOUT WITNESS open call, Cycle I.
Applications are open from 20 July to 10 August 2026, through the form at wit.monomo.space. Submitting an application does not grant a place. The studio decides who takes part, privately; reasons are not given. There is no fee to apply or to take part; travel and materials are not covered.
Selected artists sign a separate participation agreement before their session. That agreement — not this page — governs the session, the printing, the exhibition and the work itself. The finished work remains the artist’s, under their name.
The form collects four things: your name, an email address, a link to your practice and your written answer. We process them for one purpose: running this call — reading applications, deciding who takes part and contacting selected artists.
The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”), given by ticking the box before sending the form. You may withdraw it at any time; withdrawing removes your application from consideration.
Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties. Service providers that store or deliver it on our behalf act only on our instructions. Applications are processed on our own server in the EU (Hetzner, Germany) — nothing is stored there — and delivered to us over Telegram; transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Applications of selected artists are kept for the duration of Cycle I. All other applications are deleted no later than six months after the call closes, that is by 10 February 2027.
Under the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and portability. You can send a request through the application form, or in writing to Monomo Estudios SL, Gràcia, Barcelona.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from this call is subject to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
